A Legion of Strangers

I believe we are transitioning rapidly into the next level of our Father’s Heart…the next church! “A Legion of Strangers” will be the name of this new church. In French it’s “Legion Estrangere” which means “ Legion of Strangers.”
The French Foreign Legion, established in 1831, is a unique elite unit within the French army. It was created by the King of France, Louis Philipe. The purpose of the legion was to remove disruptive elements from society and put them fighting the enemies of France. Recruits included failed revolutionaries from the rest of Europe, soldiers from disbanded regiments, troublemakers, cut-throats, murderers, rapists, drunkards, and criminals - all of societies misfits who would have a second chance in life in the French Foreign Legion. Once part of the French Foreign Legion the men are given the opportunity to change their identity and may even chose to have a new name. Sound familiar?
In the Gospel of Christ we are given the same opportunity with a new life, a second chance, and often times a new name. Those who join the Legion have come to the place of newness. 1 Cor. 1:27-29 says “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.” God is raising up a “legion of strangers” from all over the world. God’s legion will be comprised of individuals coming out of promiscuity from the inner cities and the back woods. God is raising up the people of Luke 14:13 “…the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.” God will supernaturally support this end time church both spiritually and financially.
The days of manipulation and false prosperity are coming to an end! The new church will not only operate in manifestations but will move in the power of God! God will raise up Generals to help train these Legionaires. These Generals will help to set discipline and a standard into the lives of the Legionaires. Today the French Foreign Legion is one of the greatest armies in the world, but there is a greater army rising as manifested sons and daughters of the most high God!
Get ready, this new church is coming on the scene now!
Leaders get ready for change or step aside. God will raise up people who want to pastor this new church.
These leaders and members of this church will walk with God’s glory in them and upon them.
